Trying all New Zealand Craft Beer: A Beer Club

I decided that it would be a good plan to try as many beers made in NZ as possible (ignoring the stock standard fare until later). And so the challenge begins. Myself and 6 "colleagues" who have the same interests will gather once a month at a beer club and sample New Zealand Craft Beer! The initial brief is...Lets start with ale...s! I'm starting with the southern most brewery, Invercargill Brewery and their Pale Ale "Stanley Green" The rest will be revealed after the "tasting"

Ahhh McDuffs...its all organic!

[10 Nov 2009]

So we invited the better halfs to watch our shenanigans for better or worse. And then there was the beer!
Edinburgh draught - Steve can smell his armpit - although his dose is blocked!
There is honey yes! Not bad not great. DO MIA.
...Wheat Lager nose of manuka..that was Steve again. best lager top for a while. Could steinlager be a competitor? Original Ale smoky malt (nothing different there!). Not worth stealing. Think carefully if offered one for free! Its a kinda nothing. Next Black diamond...better...malty but "not going to become our house beer" H...hops? surely not
Dark Ale - no colour change...is that legal? The subtlety is amazing!
The stout....the best label! obviously saving the best till last...more malt...but...ok does anyone have any real beer? Next time its the speights brewery!
