Trying all New Zealand Craft Beer: A Beer Club

I decided that it would be a good plan to try as many beers made in NZ as possible (ignoring the stock standard fare until later). And so the challenge begins. Myself and 6 "colleagues" who have the same interests will gather once a month at a beer club and sample New Zealand Craft Beer! The initial brief is...Lets start with ale...s! I'm starting with the southern most brewery, Invercargill Brewery and their Pale Ale "Stanley Green" The rest will be revealed after the "tasting"

July 2010

[29 September]

wait...the filing system works! Beer bottles, not yet catalogued and of course the notes. it was at mine ...its coming back to me. This is July! First up, Wanaka brewski followed by the tall black. not bad...not too much body. Then the three boys oyster stout. Richer and tasty. The croucher pale ale...Smells pretty good for rotorua. Good colour, flavour...Nice! (not Simon's fault!). Then the Harvard honey ale....divided.we finished off with monteith's winter ale and harrington's rogue hop..... the winner on the night was croucher!
